江妍获清华大学英语专业学士学位、美国圣地亚哥州立大学教育学硕士学位、美国加州大学圣巴巴拉分校教育学（应用语言学交叉学科）硕士学位和博士学位（Ph.D.）。
Jiang Yan received her Ph.D. from University of California, Santa Barbara in Cultural Perspectives and Comparative Education (Applied Linguistics emphasis).
